Look Homeward, Angel

I’m slowly working my way through the massive behemoth of fashion that just arrived at my door yesterday.  I’m referring of course to none other than the September issue of Vogue.  Having yet to read a single article, I’ve instead been digesting some of the editorials.  One I particularly enjoy was styled by Elissa Santisi.  Model Anja Rubik is a mid-century housewifey type who seeks a life beyond her white picket fence.
It’s only three spreads long, is fairly spring-y in it’s color palette, and may technically be an accessories story, but it nevertheless creates a compelling atmosphere with lots of vintage-y mid-century vibes that I really appreciate.
