I am in love with my new skirt. I got it at the Vintage Expo this past weekend. It’s a 1950s barkcloth circle skirt with a great atomic print. I got it from Skirt Chaser Vintage‘s booth. She had so much cute stuff, and if I ever find myself in Santa Rosa anytime soon I’ll have to stop into her actual store. It seems like lately my uniform has been a big skirt and a cozy sweater, vintage or otherwise. This sweater is Miu Miu, and I wore it all with my Salvatore Ferragamo shoes, 1940s brass necklace, Chanel sunglasses and an Elliott Lucca bag that I’ve had for almost seven years.
A small bit of news: I got another tattoo on Saturday. I’ve been thinking about it for a long time (about six months at least). I only mention it because my other tattoos are usually concealed, but this one will obviously be much more visible in photos. Arrows are symbols of bravery, and for me this year has been full of a lot of scary, uncertain situations. But I’m still here. And a little less afraid.
